May 20th was wasted by waiting for the Walmart bus at 1pm, returning me home at 3pm. I watched the prom episode of glee (i’m so over this show) and caught up on the Shaytards (holler!) before heading over to work. Work was fine, I finally got a turnstile, and I ended the night on exits watching Wishes. I think that’s up there in favourite things to do. Exits beginning at 9:30 and ending at 10:45. I’ll take it!

May 21st was finally mine and Devin’s weekend which started at the Art of Animation cast preview!! It was WICKED! Then MK riding almost everything we wanted, including Pooh for the first time this year! We finished early and headed over to Studios to catch a very rainy countdown to fun parade before toy story and fantasmic. The show is a tiny bit different and included a pre-show, and in my opinion, is less magical.

May 22nd was our Sunday, even thought it was a Tuesday. We slowly walked around Epcot taking in everything and every pavilion including France! I’ve never been in there and the show was actually really good. We went for a kids meal in Japan (meh!) and watched Illuminations from Norway…Germany is still my new favourite. Then headed home to start another week of work.

May 23rd, and my main gates we’re finally activated. Thank god! I spent the morning in Animal Kingdom with Devin before dropping him off at work and heading over to MK. Along the way I decided to stop at the Grand Floridan to get some pool time in, enjoy the sun and see all the construction. I even had a surprise show by an amazing lounge singer in the middle of the lobby. Once again, work was work. I think today was the day I decided I’m stoked to be PAC trained. I’m over this PG stuff.

May 24th was spent at MK with Alex, Lindsay and Sara becuase we all had work that day. We did Country Bear, Hall of Presidents, and Phillarmagic before the rain drowned us out and the other three had to head to work. I still had two hours to kill so i went to Property Control and scored my mini ears i’ve been wanting!! I took a nap on the main street break room couches and went to work. It was disgusting and humid all night because of the storm and Devin surprised me after work!

May 25th began with pounding on my door at 3am after my roomie lost her keys. Devin snuck out of bed early to head to work but I slept in until 11 before getting summoned upstairs to assist Devins roommates with booking hotel rooms. I hung out with them for a few hours, showered and headed to work. It was a bad day covered in gum, water bottle falling apart and being called a bitch by a guest, but at least i was on entrances. Our bus was 20 minutes late and Devin was a gumpy gills when I got home, but he was tired so i’ll forgive him.

May 19th was a long and slow day. I slept in at Devin’s even though he got up at 5 to go to work. I skyped the fam-jam for a few hours before vegging out and waiting to catch the 1:55 bus for my 3pm shift. I worked 3-9:45 and was stuck on exits the entire time. I need to ask a coordinator about my proficiencies being added to my card so I can be in turnstile rotation. I hope that happens today during my 5:45-11:45 shift. I’ll probably be on exits again…

My wrists are killing me from waving all night and because every time a stroller/wheelchair comes through a gate we need to rotate the turnstile. hitting them over and over again on a weird angle already hurts. I need to get into a good groove. To end the night, Devin picked me up from work and we watched Magic, Memories and You in addition to Wishes before catching the bus home and crashing for the night.

We got our schedule for next week (27th-2nd) today and I’m getting trained on something else next tues/wed. I’m really excited to do something new. I also work on the 2nd, which is Devin and my anniversary and the day my family leaves. I;m selfishly going to see if he can switch to a later shift so we can do breakfast together and end at similar times to hang out. =P love you hunny.

may 18th Sara, Alex, Lindsay and I took over the opening day of star wars weekends at hollywood studios by meeting a ton of characters like maul, ani and storm troopers. the park was packed as i expected it would be, but since i knew the girls wanted to go, i was ok with it. Devin met up with us after work, and the five of us went on toy story and ate at sci-fi dine in since Alex had never been. yummy, as usual. the girls stayed to watch hyperspace hoopla, but devin and i went over to the boardwalk to try and get his cupcake which they apparently no longer sell…how disappointing. we walked around for a bit, and found a really cool busker in the lobby who put on a private show for a few minutes. we took the boat back to studios and headed home for the night. i slept at devins even though him and his roomie had to be up early, he let me sleep more after he left.

i’m not at all feeling these opposite schedules. i don’t like it. i spent this morning skyping my family, which was nice, and now i’m basically killing time until the 1:55 bus i need to catch for work. tomorrow is the only day i can manage a walmart trip, so i’m wasting another whole day on that. i start work at 5:45pm :( i really hope i come across more people working nights or this summer is really going to suck. i’m already worried i’ll never see devin and it’s so frustrating to have no say over it. it almost feels like we’ve seen each other even less than all year, even though we live beside each other now. i promise, this will be my last wasted weekend sitting at home watching tv waiting to work. today has been dragging on.
